
The Doppler open channel flow meter is online real-time measurement device for flowing water through open channel and pipe. It is permanent using and widely used for weirs & flumes, river, sewer lines, streams, partially filled pipe, etc. It can measure common type water (e.g. tap water, etc) and wastewater.
In the past, such Doppler open flow meter has been sold at very high price on the market. In order to make more projects utilize such flow meter, we have been working hard to develop the new generation with low price. It has been made on our latest technology which can ensure good performance with high cost-effective solution.
The Doppler flow meter is designed on the modular technology. It mainly has two parts: Doppler sensor and electronic converter. This design makes it easier for future maintenance.
The open channel flow meter can be equipped with versatile outputs, and the default is RS485 Modbus-RTU. There are relays output and 2 ways 4-20mA optional. For 4-20mA output, the default is for flow rate and can be set in related menu window. For the second 4-20mA output, it can be water velocity or water depth/level optional.
Unlike mechanical velocity sensor, Doppler flow sensor has no moving parts, thus it has long working life and better performance. Comparing with open channel flow on ultrasonic level, the Doppler open channel flow meter doesn’t require to build related flumes; it will save on-site installing fee and transportation fee. Thus, our Doppler open channel flow meter will be an ideal choice for your application of open channel and partial filled pipe, especially the price of our Doppler flow meter has been much lower.
